Vincent ZERMATTEN is the guitarist of the Swiss group EVER SINCE, specialized in melodic dark-metal. However, quite another musical style, melancholic rock, is tackled through his new solo venture named VINC PROJECT. Released in 2008 on the Musea label, "My Story..." features acoustic and electric guitars, backed with different string instruments such as violin and cello. The compositions' atmosphere and the various musical climates are underlined by the presence of keyboards. This album is basically a musical autobiography, based on a concept telling some events of the artist's existence, from the years of harmony, to the moments of deepest solitude and distress. The lyrics show perfectly his state of mind during this period and while composing the album. To be discovered !
